We booked here for three nights for what the hotel lacks in decor, it more than makes up for with low prices and location. Wifi was free when we stayed and the welcome we received cordial enough. We had a clean ensuite room with microwave, fridge and kettle. The staff were pretty good with our three year old, and none of the horror stories we read in other reviews of this place were apparent. Would stay again
Quaint spot. Well kept and seemingly well run. Liked the kitchenette in a cupboard! Had a room to the back with a window able to be opened, much appreciated! Not much space in the room for 2 persons. Pleasant stay.
The rooms in the hotel are indeed quite small and a bit old but they are cleaned every day, the heating worked perfectly (I stayed in december), the wifi was also fine. For this price you would never find anything better, especially in this neighbourhood. The hotel is really close to a great shopping centre and Shepherd's Bush U-stop. All-in-all, I was mostly satisfied.
The location is about a 6 minute walk to shepherd's bush underground and westfield shopping centre. The rooms are quite small and nothing spectacular. However, with that said, I like it and it is clean. There is a complimentary basic breakfast in the mornings and my experience with the staff so far has been pleasant.
After all these bad reviews I was a bit worried. But the stuff was really friendly and the room was nice, nothing special but clean and tidy. Yes, there are spots here and there on the wall, and the window was dirty, but that's something I can live with. The breakfast is ok, they have only toast, no other bread but since I was in the city the whole day that was fine. I just wanted a warm and tidy place to sleep and that's what you get.
Old, small but clean rooms. The breakfast could be better. You get toast and 1 kind of cereals, 1 kind of cheese, 1 kind of sausage and this small things you get everywhere. Small portions of butter, marmalade, honey. For drink you get coffee, tea and 1 kind of fruit juice.
Stayed for one night to attend a concert locally. Staff were friendly and welcoming from the get go. Our room was not large, but the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and the fridge and microwave were an added bonus you don't get in most hotels. Breakfast was also greatly appreciated. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again
After reading some reviews I was worried about the stay but it was clean & tidy, Crisp clean sheets, stayed 2 nights and bed was made after 2st night with clean towels & coffee topped up, highly recommend
